So i talked a bit about the last shed show in a previous post, but that was right after it. Now I've had some time to actually grasp the it's closed, and i've come to realize that the champaign area has suffered a great loss. Not only in the venue, which i already knew, but in the fact that theres not going to be nearly the same amount of shows going on. at least indie shows. I was updating my facebook group for shows in champaign and i realized that they are almost all hardcore shows. Which made me happy and sad. Happy that the hardcore scene is coming back, but sad that the indie scene is going away now. The shed will always be missed by many, but hopefully it won't mean the end for some music around here. I should have more photos up soon. A couple of shoots in the works. maybe pictures from shows coming up too.
Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Even though only like 3 people probably see this. This past week was my spring break and I shot pictures for one show and went to others. most of the above took place in the entry way of the mckinley foundation. Theres not much room in there, so it gets things moving pretty well. Also for my photo class we're working on porteaits so i just posted one of Damon from when i did old Rhynoceraptor pictures a little while ago. More photos soon hopefully. That's all.
